Friday, May 11th, Mrs. Nogueira had her baby boy! Last week, a survey was sent out that allowed students to try to guess the name, weight, and length of her baby. 39.7% (the majority!) said that Mrs. Nogueira was going to name her baby Oliver, which is correct. 32.8% thought she was going to name him Grayson. Following that, 12.3% said Charlie, 9.3% guessed Lincoln, and 5.9% said they thought the name would be George. Mrs. Nogueira’s baby was 9 pounds and 4 ½ ounces; only 9.8% of students guessed the baby would be 9 pounds! Oliver was also 20.75 inches long. A total of 16.1% said that they thought he would be 21 inches. A few days ago, Mrs. Nogueira answered some questions about her baby. Everyone knows Mrs. Nogueira is super excited to have her baby, but how do you think her daughter, Lena, feels about her new baby brother? Mrs. Nogueira said that she doesn’t think her daughter has come to realize that she’s going to have a new sibling, yet. She said that her daughter doesn’t quite understand.
