8th Grade Revolutionary War Museum Field Trip

On March 7th, the 8th grade class from SMS traveled to Philadelphia for a field trip to the Revolutionary War Museum. Students were put into groups and walked around the museum with a tour guide.  The 8th graders got to learn about life in the 1700s and how horrible, but interesting the Revolutionary War was.

4th Character: I am white when I am dirty, and black when I am clean. What am I? Character is last letter of answer.

Some featured exhibits were the Hamilton Experience where students got the learn about Alexander Hamilton and his role in history, and the short movie about the tent George Washington stayed in during the war.  They even got to see the tent itself! The 8th grade had so much fun learning new things on this field trip.
